Smeg C92IPMB2 90cm Black Induction Electric Range Cooker

The Smeg C92IPMB2 is a 90cm wide electric range cooker in black with two ovens giving a total cooking capacity of 105 litres. The main oven holds 70 litres and the auxiliary oven adds 35 litres plenty of room for a full roast with all the trimmings. It sits in Smeg's Concert range and is built from 18/10 stainless steel.

The hob has 5 powerful induction zones so you can run multiple pans at once with fast precise heat. The main oven uses Smeg's Circulaire fan function which circulates heat evenly and prevents flavour transfer between dishes cooked at the same time. There are 5 cooking level positions in the main cavity. The second oven handles smaller jobs or acts as a grill.

Controls are manual dials with an LED/LCD display. The main oven has a self-cleaning pyrolytic function that burns off grease and food residue without scrubbing. Both ovens have easy-clean enamel linings. The cooker carries an A energy rating.

This eliminates hot spots and means different foods can cook together without flavour transfer. The pyrolytic cleaning system heats the main oven cavity to around 500°C to carbonise food residue. The LED/LCD display works alongside manual dials for straightforward control.

The C92IPMB2 carries an A energy rating making it one of the more efficient electric range cookers available. The induction hob transfers heat directly to the pan with very little waste. For everyday meals use the 35-litre second oven rather than heating the full 70-litre main cavity. The Circulaire fan oven also reduces cooking time which cuts energy use compared to a conventional oven.

The C92IPMB2 needs a dedicated electrical supply a qualified electrician must carry out the installation under Part P of the Building Regulations. You need a minimum 900mm gap in your kitchen. Allow the recommended side clearances and at least 650mm above the hob to any extractor hood. The cooker weighs 89kg so two people are needed to move it into position.
